  • sarvangasanaYoga for the complete body

    “Sarva” means complete, entire ‘Anga’ means body organ. This Asana benefits the entire body. A prominent Asana, sarvangasana is a difficult yogasana.

    Step 1: Lie down flat on the ground

    Step 2: Exhale slowly. Raise your legs and hips up, with the support of arms. Hold the hips with your hands. Raise the legs upto 90 degrees so that the entire back is perpendicular to the ground. Legs should be straight. Your chin should be pressing against your chest.

    Step 3: Inhale and slowly return to normal position.

    Caution:

    1. Do this asana only once.

    2. Persons with high blood pressure and heart problems should not do this Asana without consulting Doctor.

    3. Persons with cervical spondylosis should avoid doing this Asana.
